Amethyst pours deep jewel purple with a metallic glow that shifts as the light does, the painted equivalent of a gemstone held to a window. It is the Metallique to reach for when a piece needs drama: ornate mould castings, moody frames, or a regal stripe of color down a bookcase back panel.

Like the rest of the Art Alchemy Metallique line it is water based and heavily pigmented, drying to a permanent, archival safe finish that works on furniture, decor, art and mixed media alike. The 1.7 fl oz (50 ml) jar rewards thin coats, two passes give a rich, foundry cast look.
