Ancient Coin is gold that has already lived a little: a warm, softly aged metallic that looks handed down rather than freshly bought. Brush it on and a plain casting, a frame edge or a drawer pull takes on the low glow of something found at the bottom of an old jewelry box.
Every Art Alchemy Metallique jar is water based acrylic with a true metallic finish, and Prima rates it rich in color, permanent after drying, archival safe and non-toxic. Dry brush it across the raised details of a mould casting and the high points read as worn gold; give hardware a full coat for an heirloom finish at a fraction of the cost of the real thing. The 1.7 fl oz (50 ml) jar closes with a screw-top lid between projects.
