From Redesign with Prima, the furniture-and-decor line of Prima Marketing — a family-owned, woman-led company that has been in the craft trade since 1999, out of Chino, California.
Their range covers the whole job: Decor Moulds, Decor Transfers, Art Alchemy paints, texture pastes and flakes. Everything you need for a finish comes from one maker, so the pieces are built to work together.

A dabbing brush is what stops a stencil from bleeding. The bristles are cut flat and packed dense, so color goes on by tapping straight down instead of dragging sideways, and the edge of the design stays crisp. This medium size runs 5.25 inches long with a 0.75 inch head, which covers a letter or a small motif in a few taps without losing control at the corners. The short silver handle keeps your hand close to the work and the black ferrule holds the bristles through heavy mediums. Finnabair built the Art Basics line around this exact job: stencils, texture pastes, impasto paints, waxes, and the rust and patina effects that have to be pushed into a surface rather than brushed across it.
