A half-leather journal bound the old way: real leather over a rounded, stitched spine that lets the book fall open and stay there, with a cover papered in vintage hot air balloon artwork. It has the heft of something from a Budapest bindery because that is exactly what it is.

Inside are 192 lined pages of ivory 90 g/m2 watermarked paper printed in soft grey rule, with rounded corners and a ribbon marker sewn in. It measures 13 x 21 cm and 1.7 cm thick, which is the size that actually fits in a bag. This is a one-of-a-kind object rather than a production run: because each cover is cut from a larger sheet of the balloon paper, no two are identical and any part of the design may land on your copy.
