Hang a little cabinet of curiosities on the tree. Each insect is made by hand from fabric and covered edge to edge in tiny beads and flashing sequins, so it glints from the branches every time the lights catch it. A gold-colored cord loop at the top means it is ready to hang straight away.

Pick your insect. Amber Butterfly spreads copper, gold and black wings. Teal Moth opens wide wings of teal and green sequins around an amber body. Striped Beetle wears gold and black chevrons and curled sequin antennae. Olive Scarab has an olive green shell trimmed in copper and teal. Gold Banded Moth folds blue beaded wings striped with gold sequins. Spotted Blue Beetle is a teal shell dotted with brown spots. At about 5 inches, each one reads clearly from across the room. Hang it on a wreath, from a lamp finial or a window latch, or give the whole collection to the nature lover who stops to look at every bug in the garden.
