A cobalt blue glass egg with a bubbled, crackled surface, so the colour goes from deep ink in the hollows to bright electric blue on every raised bead. It is the blue that makes a green tree look richer and a white tree look deliberate, and it holds its depth under warm lights where flat blues go grey.

Four inches tall with a silver metal cap and a natural jute cord loop. Made in India. The egg shape hangs lower and reads taller than a ball, so one on an outer branch does the work of two baubles tucked inside.
