The sweetest thing in the sewing basket. Each little cottage is made by hand from wool felt and stitched with embroidery. Four of the six add tiny beads or sequins, and a 5 foot tape hides inside every one. Pull the felt tab at the corner of the house and out comes the tape, ready to check a hem, measure a quilt block or size a frame for the wall.
Choose your cottage. Brown with Red Peaked Roof has a heart on its door. Green with Brown Roof wears a row of glinting sequins across its brown roof. Mustard with Red Beaded Roof looks like a gingerbread house with striped shutters. Sage with Red Beaded Roof has a round dark window up top. Tan with Red Rounded Roof sports a white beaded trim, and White with Red Stitched Roof carries rows of colorful stitches. About 4-1/2 by 2 inches, it slips into a stocking, a notions tin or a gift bag for the maker in your life.
