Every order brings one hand carved wooden animal, chosen at random from our mix, so the animal you receive can't be picked in advance. The photos show a camel and two donkeys as examples, and because each piece is carved by hand, the grain, the color and the tilt of the head differ from one animal to the next.

That is the charm. Look closely and you can see the knife-cut facets, the notched mane on the donkey and the warm grain running through the wood. Stand one on a windowsill, a bookshelf or a desk, line up a small herd along a mantel, or slip one into a stocking as a little surprise that feels made rather than manufactured.
