Fine raised dots run in vertical rows around the whole pot, glazed a shade lighter than the body so they read as tiny copper beads against the dusty rose. It is a reactive glaze, which is why the pot in front of you may lean coppery while the next one leans mauve. That drift is the finish working, not a flaw, and it is why a pair never looks mass produced.

Both sizes have a real drainage hole with a stopper plug, so you can plant straight into the pot and pull the plug when you water, or leave it in and use the pot as a cover. That one detail is what separates a pot you can actually garden in from a pot you have to work around.
