The Holy Family painted on an 80 mm cobalt glass ball: Joseph standing with his staff, Mary in deep red holding the infant, both haloed in gold, gilded straw at their feet and a stone arch curving behind them. The gold line work is applied by hand, stroke by stroke.

The ball is mouth blown at a glassworks in southern Poland and hand painted by Polish artisans in a technique the region has practised for generations. It arrives individually packed with a gold cap and hanging loop, in limited quantities, and no display stand is included.
