Radishes are up within days, which keeps the interest going while the slower crops catch up.

Everything grows in the kit's own recycled fiber egg carton planter. Starter soil, wooden plant identification stakes, growing instructions and a growing journal are packed in the box, so a first time gardener has both the plan and somewhere to record how it went.
