Eloise Wilkin painted it, and her soft, detailed pictures are a big part of why Golden Books became an icon. She also illustrated We Help Mommy, from 1959, and the collection closes with Mommies: All About the Work They Do, written by Margo Lundell with pictures by Paul Meisel.
