Midnight Muses is the darker wing of the curiosity collection: scarab and stag beetles with ribbed wing cases, a moth, toadstools and a capped mushroom cluster, a corked specimen jar, fiddlehead ferns, magnolia sprigs, and a tiny fern-filled dome. Cast and gilded, the beetles alone are worth the mould; they finish like antique bronze entomology pins.

The food-grade silicone mould measures 5x10 inches at roughly 8 mm depth. Cast in resin or paper clay for jewelry-box lids, frame corners, and dark academia shelfscapes, or in chocolate for a woodland party. Every ridge and spore gill releases cleanly, and the castings take metallic waxes with almost unfair ease. Glue to furniture, walls, or trays and finish as you please.
