Honeycomb and sweet wildflowers, in a bar big enough to actually last.
Rachel makes Orange Thyme soap in Spokane the slow way. This is cold process, which means the recipe is built from scratch rather than melted out of a pre made base, and every bar then cures for three to five weeks while the water evaporates out of it. What is left is a harder bar that holds its shape in a wet dish instead of turning to paste in a fortnight. Saponified olive oil does the work: a soft, low lather that rinses clean and does not strip.
The top is finished with a scatter of dried flowers, so no two bars are laid out quite the same. At 6 oz it is a proper handheld size, weighed at the moment of cutting, and it arrives in a plain paper band that makes it a decent thing to hand to somebody. If Wildflower and Honey is already a scent you know from our Orange Thyme bath bomb, this is the same one to wash with.
