The skin around the eye is the thinnest on the face, which is why it shows tiredness first and why most face creams are too heavy for it. Renu Naturals built this one specifically for that ground: a 1 fl oz pump bottle carrying 0.5 percent retinol alongside niacinamide, botanical hyaluronic acid and a short list of organic oils, so the actives arrive in something light enough to tap on twice a day.
Retinol is the ingredient the maker leans on to support collagen and even out texture, with niacinamide working on tone and the look of dark spots, and hyaluronic acid drawing in the water that makes fine lines read as softer. Around them sit organic aloe leaf juice, organic argan, avocado and sunflower oils, organic shea butter and vitamin E. It is unscented apart from the faint earthy rose geranium that comes from the oils themselves, and it finishes satin rather than greasy.
Renu Naturals is a small American natural skincare maker, and this arrives boxed, so it gives without any wrapping. We hold two.
