Two mice wake up to find what Santa left: candy, dolls, even a race car. All of it beautiful. None of it theirs. What follows is a very small story about being remembered, told in twenty four pages by one of the great illustrators of the twentieth century.

Richard Scarry drew this in the 1960s and the art has been digitally restored to its original brightness for the Little Golden Book edition, gold foil spine and all. It costs about as much as a coffee and it is the sort of thing a child still has when they are forty.
