Saltwash is the shortcut to the weathered, layered, sun and salt air soaked look that normally takes years of seaside weather. The powder is made with real sea salt: mix it into any brand, color or finish of paint, brush it on as a base coat, and it dries quickly with great adhesion into a raised, salty texture.
Top it with your finish color and sand to bring out the layered, timeworn surface that coastal and farmhouse pieces are loved for. Saltwash was invented for furniture, and it also gives walls, flooring and almost any surface that takes paint the same character. The large 42 oz can covers about 65 to 75 square feet once mixed, and a 2 oz scoop is inside. It is a no VOC product, manufactured in the USA.
