From Redesign with Prima, the furniture-and-decor line of Prima Marketing — a family-owned, woman-led company that has been in the craft trade since 1999, out of Chino, California.
Their range covers the whole job: Decor Moulds, Decor Transfers, Art Alchemy paints, texture pastes and flakes. Everything you need for a finish comes from one maker, so the pieces are built to work together.

Vintage is the gentle one: pale gold foil flakes blushed with coral and rose, so a gilded surface lands somewhere between old gilt and weathered copper instead of shouting new gold.
Prima's own description is direct about the job: shiny metallic foil flakes that add a gilded look to any surface, and a natural fit for mixed media and decoupage. Brush Art Extravagance Gilding Glue over the area first, let it go tacky, then lift the flakes on with a dry soft brush and press them down. Sweep the loose excess back into the jar and seal the surface with a clear topcoat. Works over paint, wood, resin castings, paper, chipboard and mould detail.
The jar is labelled Metallic Flakes and holds 5 fl oz (150 ml) by volume; Prima states the total weight as 30 g including the container, which is a lot of coverage because foil flakes weigh almost nothing.
Want a second tone to blend into it? Take Barcelona Fine Metallic Flakes. For unbroken sheets rather than flakes, take the Imitation Gold Leaf.
Want a second tone, or whole sheets?
Barcelona is the louder gold, red and black mix that cuts against this one. The Imitation Gold Leaf is the same gilding job in unbroken sheets.
