A knight needs somewhere to put the sword down. This one arrives with its own felt scabbard: a blue crenellated band across the top, a yellow body edged in ribbon, and a blue shield carrying a single embroidered fleur-de-lis. A natural cord ties it at the waist, so the sword rides on the hip instead of being left in the garden.

The blade, crossguard and pommel are beech wood. The grip is wrapped in suede, which is the part that decides whether a wooden sword gets played with or put down after ten minutes.
