Round, 33 centimetres across, and quartered blue and yellow behind a grey cross band studded with rivet heads. At the centre where the bands meet is a raised boss carrying Thor's hammer. The face is plywood, which is what lets a shield this size stay flat and stay light at 336 grams.

The back carries two synthetic leather handles fixed with metal rivets, so it straps to the forearm properly rather than being gripped at one point. That is the difference between a shield a child holds up for a photograph and one they can actually run around behind.
