Cardinal Cheer is winter birdwatching in casting form: a full oak-and-berry wreath with a crested cardinal perched inside, two more cardinals on branches, and a pair of berried sprigs. Cast in clay and painted true red against greenery, they carry a whole mantel.

The 5 x 8 inch food-grade silicone mould runs 8 mm deep and works with paper clay, resin, air-dry clay, hot glue and chocolate. The wreath alone makes a beautiful ornament; the sprigs finish frames, boxes and candle bases.
