Alli Koch starts every drawing from a shape a seven year old already knows. The Baby Bunny page opens with one circle, adds a dotted cotton tail, then two ears, and by step four a rabbit is sitting there with its back to you. The tulip runs the same way. So does the butterfly. A child who has decided they are bad at this reaches the end of a page and finds a finished picture with their own hand behind it.
