Intricate Grace supplies the corners: a mirrored pair of rococo flourishes, each a whipped curl of acanthus foliage carrying a small open rose and rosette medallion. Corner appliques are the highest-leverage trick in furniture upcycling; set this pair at the top corners of a door panel or headboard and the whole piece snaps into period focus.
Each rigid poly casting measures roughly 7x6.7 inches at about a third of an inch deep. The left and right pieces are true mirrors, so compositions stay balanced without any trimming. Mount with wood or construction adhesive, then paint with the piece or gild against it; the deep undercuts in the curls hold glaze beautifully for an aged, hand-carved read.
