From Notes & Queries, illustrated stationery for the moments worth marking — birthdays, weddings and anniversaries, a new baby, a new home, a thank-you.
The drawing does the work: circus animals and rockets on the children's birthdays, cake and candles on the rest, and a run of book-lover designs for the reader on your list.

Skip the drugstore multipack. These Round Ornaments boxed cards from Notes & Queries turn your holiday mailing list into a moment of real craft — jewel-toned baubles rendered like little ornaments you'd hang on the tree, printed on paper thick enough to stand proud on a mantel. "Merry Christmas" on the front, and the inside left blank for your own message so every card feels handwritten, not mass-produced.
One tidy box holds 8 cards and 8 matching white envelopes — enough for the neighbors, the teachers, the in-laws, and still a couple in reserve. It's the easy elegance that makes people set your card on the shelf instead of the recycling. Only 4 boxes left this season — grab yours before the holiday rush clears the shelf.
