A pencil sharpener that earns its place on the desk. The Snifty Sharpen Your World sharpener is a metal ball printed with a full world map, continents, countries and oceans, sitting on a foil base.

Inside is a plain, honest steel blade in a red plastic housing that lifts out of the globe. The ball is hollow, so it catches the shavings instead of scattering them across a desk or a school bag, and you empty it by pulling the insert.

It is a real sharpener that happens to be a small globe, which makes it a fair bit more interesting than the plastic wedge in the bottom of the pencil case. Sold singly.
