Every little driver has big plans. When I Grow Up: I Want to Drive opens the garage door on a collection of exciting vehicles, starting with the big green tractor on the cover, rumbling through a field of tall corn with a smiling farmer at the wheel.

Thirty fun-filled flaps hide simple facts across the pages, so a toddler lifts, peeks and finds out something new about each machine, then wants to do it all over again. Richard Merritt's bold, bright pictures give every page plenty to point at, and Rosamund Lloyd keeps the words short and snappy for a child who would much rather be lifting flaps.

A sturdy 12 page board book, about 7.4 by 7.3 inches, for ages 2 to 5. It is a ready-made birthday gift for the child who waves at every tractor, truck and bus that rolls past.
