Turquoise, landscape, and covered in hand drawn nonsense: a fake nose and glasses, a number one trophy, a bird standing in the corner. Twenty four pages inside, all of them blank where it counts, so a child can build Grandpa a present in about twenty minutes.

The prompts are short enough to hold a young writer and silly enough to keep one. An acid green spread lists the jobs he would be best at, astronaut, magician, genie, detective, teacher, movie star, pirate, doctor, chef, sheriff and inventor, to be colored in, then asks why he is so super. A cloud drifts over a rabbit, an elephant and a volcano under if we had a magic carpet, we would blank, with boxes to check: float inside a rainbow, eat ice cream on top of mountains, soar over a volcano, find endangered creatures in the wild, sprinkle the world with candy, fly everywhere we would like to go, and one line to invent a better one. An orange spread declares that because Grandpa, there is no one else in the world as blank as you. A charcoal page holds three empty frames for two favorite things and all the time you spend together. The letter spread opens Dear blank, you're the best! You're as amazing as a parade of blank, and ends but that would be crazy, so I made you this book to show you why you're so great.

Hardcover, 24 pages, 8.5 inches wide by 6.5 inches high, written by Danielle Leduc McQueen, illustrated by Jill Labieniec and published by Compendium in June 2022. Printed in China with soy and neon inks on FSC Mix paper from responsible sources, license FSC C020056. The publisher puts it at ages 4 to 8.
