A tan peanut in wavy, crinkled fur with a narrow waist, dressed as a cat: two black pointed ears on top of the head, a long black tail curling out behind, and two black ribbed feet. Two black bead eyes, a stitched smile and three stitched whiskers on each cheek finish the face. The ears, tail and feet are sewn on, so the costume stays on through every wash and every game.
On Jellycat's size chart he measures 4.7 inches, 12 cm; the spec sheet gives 5.9 x 2.8 x 2.4 inches. The fur is 95% polyester and 5% cotton. Fiber filling keeps him squishy, and PE beans in the base keep him sitting up on a desk or a shelf. Hard safety eyes, and Jellycat grades him suitable from birth.
Jellycat writes it as a costume Peanut invented a dress code for, then wore again for Halloween and International Cat Day until it became his traveling outfit. He has fooled Jellycat Jack in it and never Amuseables Bean.
