Every Finnabair piece starts with the basics, and Art Basics Clear Gesso is the jar Prima makes for that job. Prima's own promise for it is short and confident: add that perfect finish to your artwork. The label says the rest in three words, Gesso, Clear, Transparent, so what you open is exactly what it says: a clear gesso.
It belongs to Finnabair's Art Basics range, the mixed media essentials Prima files under Gel and Gesso, and it is built to work with the rest of the line. Prima designs its Clear Crackle Varnish Set for use over gesso, which makes the two a natural first and last step for a crackled, aged piece.
The jar holds a generous 8.5 fl oz (250 ml), with GESSO, Clear Transparent, Transparente printed on its label.
