Gone Fishing Mad Libs is 21 fill in the blank stories about hooks, lines, sinkers and the one that got away, including a NUMBER pound COLOR trout the publisher leaves entirely to the table. The words go in before anyone has heard the story. The story comes back out with a fish in it that no state record will ever accept. The cover shows how the day usually ends: the angler yanked sideways off the dock with his rod bent double, and the trout below the waterline already grinning.

Written by Stacy Wasserman and published in June 2024, with publisher age guidance of 8 to 12. It fits in a tackle box, handles a wet thumb better than a phone does, and gives the boat something to do when nothing is biting.
