The prompts carry the work, and they are funnier than you expect. A hand drawn WOW rosette sits opposite the line I realized a little while ago that you're even more blank than I knew. A gold trophy fills a dark spread under the greeting HEY, MOM! and asks you to finish the sentence you make it look so easy, but just the same, you're the most blank person I know. A page of frosted donuts faces the memory of a treat she used to hand you. A patched black jacket asks what she got up to before you existed, and the facing page answers itself: Let's face it, you've always been cool. One spread is an open envelope with a blank card in it, for the single thing you would want her to remember, always and forever.

Printed in China with soy and metallic inks on FSC Mix paper from responsible sources, license FSC C012521. Most people fill the whole thing in over one afternoon, which is a strange amount of effort for something that then sits on her shelf for twenty years.
