Meyer lemons are softer, sweeter and more aromatic than ordinary lemons, with an orange blossom edge that reads somewhere between a lemon and a tangerine. Portland Syrups brews Meyer lemon puree together with classic lemon puree and a splash of organic lemon concentrate, so the bright lemon punch stays intact and the fragrance sits on top.
This is the syrup behind a serious lemon drop martini, a homemade lemonade that does not taste like sugar water, a herbal tea with real citrus depth, and a whiskey sour built in about ten seconds. One ounce with six ounces of water and ice makes craft lemonade. The 3.4 oz sampler bottle pours three or more servings.
Ingredients: filtered water, organic cane sugar, Meyer lemon puree, lemon juice, organic lemon concentrate, citric acid.
