A dense, fudgy chocolate brownie shot through with melted chocolate chunks, and gluten free without announcing it in the texture. WOW Baking Company uses a blend of brown rice, white rice, tapioca, corn and potato starch in place of wheat flour, then leans on organic cane sugar, unsalted butter, eggs and real chocolate to do the rest. The centre stays soft, the edges keep a little chew, and nothing about it reads as a compromise.

Each 2.75 oz brownie comes wrapped on its own, so one can go in a lunch, a picnic basket or a coat pocket. Warm it for a few seconds and put it under a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you want the full version.

Baked in Kent, Washington and certified gluten free by GFCO. Like the rest of WOW's Bakery line it is made and distributed frozen, and the maker asks that you consume or refreeze it within 14 days of receipt.
