Ten pieces make a campfire. Three logs, sewn from fabric and stacked into a pile: one in brown corduroy, one in a brown and cream check, one in gray green with a printed flower on the cut end. Two slim wooden roasting sticks. Two sausages, two marshmallows and a croissant, each molded and painted so the sausage skin browns and the marshmallow keeps its squashed corners.

The clever part is near the blunt end of each stick, where a dark metal band is fitted. Maileg's hiker mice have magnets in their paws, so a mouse takes hold there and simply keeps hold, all evening, without anybody propping her arm up, and the bare sharpened point stays free for the fire.

The logs are cotton and linen with recycled polyester inside, the food is polyresin and the sticks are wood, and the whole pile stands about 11 cm (4.33 in) tall and 7 cm (2.76 in) across. Light the fire outside the Happy Camper Mouse Tent, and send someone to the water with the Mouse Fishing Set to catch the rest of dinner.
