Maileg puts the whole fairy tale into one box. The castle is printed cardboard with battlements across the top and a small arched window you can see a mouse through, and it stands up as the backdrop for the story.
Inside is a stack of seven mattresses, each cut from a different cotton print, with the pea hidden underneath. The Big Sister mouse who sleeps on top wears a coral floral dress and a beaded tiara.
Big Sister is Maileg's 4.5 to 5 inch mouse size, so she can borrow clothes and Mouse size furniture from the rest of that family. Her size also means she can wear anything cut for the Big Sister Hiker Mouse, and the reverse. The set measures 6.69 inches high, 5.91 inches wide and 3.15 inches deep.
