Castor oil on its own is thick, sticky and smells like what it is. Plant Therapy's answer was to cut it with sweet almond oil, which thins the whole thing out to something that actually spreads through hair, and to scent it with rosemary rather than a fragrance blend.

Three ingredients, nothing else: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis sweet almond oil, Ricinus Communis castor seed oil and Rosmarinus Officinalis rosemary leaf and stem oil. Made without alcohol, parabens, phthalates or synthetic fragrance. Use it pre wash, applied to the hairline and massaged into the scalp for 30 minutes to overnight, or leave in a few drops through the ends. The 4 fl oz glass bottle comes with a dropper.
