One ingredient and nothing to decode: certified organic castor seed oil, cold pressed and hexane free, in a 4 fl oz amber bottle with a dropper. Castor is the rich, glossy oil behind the overnight scalp treatment and the bedtime brow routine, and Plant Therapy labels this bottle for exactly that job: nourishing for hair, brows and lashes.
For hair, massage a quarter sized amount into the scalp and roots, leave it on for an hour or overnight, then shampoo it out, up to three times a week. For brows and lashes, sweep an applicator brush along the lash line, or coat them with a clean mascara wand, every night before bed. The maker says it helps moisturize, strengthen and condition hair, with antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamin E in every drop. It is thick by nature, so a little goes a long way; if you want it thinner, Plant Therapy suggests cutting it with jojoba or grapeseed oil.
