Silly Siblings Mad Libs runs 21 fill in the blank stories straight through the standing disputes of a shared childhood: who gets to sit in the front seat, how to avoid each other at school, and the backyard music video that was definitely the other one's idea. One sibling holds the story and asks for a noun. The other supplies it without knowing what it is about to ruin. Then the page gets read out, and for roughly ninety seconds the two of them are on the same side.
Written by Sarah Fabiny, with publisher age guidance of 8 to 12. The cover is a blanket fort strung with lights, a bowl of popcorn, a plate of cookies and exactly one kid holding the microphone, which anyone with a brother or sister will recognize as the heart of the dispute.
