Twenty six days. That is the whole gap between sowing Sparkler and pulling a round, red shouldered radish with clean white flesh out of the ground, which makes this the crop to hand a restless child or to tuck between slower rows while they fill in. The roots are crisp and snappy and at their best harvested small and tender, raw in a salad, quick pickled, or halved and roasted until they turn sweet. Sow a short row every couple of weeks through spring and again in fall and you will never be without them. Minimum 120 seeds in the packet.
