Wise Owl Glaze in Gold Metallic is liquid gilding in a jar — a shimmering, warm metallic gold that catches the light in carved details, trim lines, and raised mouldings. Sweep it over crisp white for quietly gilded elegance, or over deep colors like Wise Owl's Abyss for full jewel-box drama; wherever you wipe it back, the shimmer stays tucked in the details.
This is a translucent metallic glaze — it highlights what's beneath it rather than covering it. Apply it after your final coat of paint has dried completely and been sealed with one coat of Wise Owl Varnish or One Hour Enamel Clear (One Hour Enamel paints already carry their topcoat, so glaze right over them). Glazing over a sealed surface buys you longer open time and precise control. Available in a 2 oz sample, 4 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz.
