Meet Metallic Bronze — a dark antique bronze loaded with warm gold shimmer, the color of a cast fitting that has been handled for a hundred years. Over Wise Owl's Isles Ave white it reads as smoky aged pewter; over Vintage Duck Egg it drops into the carving and turns every raised edge to burnished metal.
This translucent, water-based glaze brings out the details of your piece — dressers, cabinet doors, mirror frames and anything with molding worth gilding. Start with the 2oz Sample to test it on your own color, then take the 8oz jar for full furniture pieces. A little goes a long way.
You'll also need a clear topcoat
Glaze goes on over one coat of Wise Owl Varnish or One Hour Enamel Clear, then gets sealed with the same topcoat for full protection. Sold separately.
