Twelve pairs of woodland watercolours by Brisbane artist Amanda Borchers, exclusive to Modern Monty and painted true to life rather than cartooned. Deer, fawn, fox, bear, pinecone, toadstool, bird's nest, owl, berries, squirrel, acorn and rabbit, each one named on its card.

Play it face down as the memory game everybody knows, or leave the pairs face up for a toddler who is still learning to match. Modern Monty recommends it for ages 3 to 103, and the rules are printed inside the lid so they are still there in two years.

The cards are 900gsm recycled stock, thick enough to survive a few hundred turns, and the square magnetic close box is why this leaves the house as a gift more often than it stays home.
