A tile city built on the rug is impressive for about four minutes, and then it needs somebody to live in it. These eight magnetised vehicles are that, and the difference they make is out of all proportion to their price: the tower stops being a tower and becomes a fire station the moment a fire engine parks in it.
The eight are a monster truck, a police car, a school bus, an ambulance, a taxi, a fire engine, a train and a helicopter, each printed in full colour with an animal character at the wheel. Between them they cover the roles a child already understands, which is what makes the play start on its own: emergencies, the school run, a taxi to somewhere invented. They are magnetised, so they hold to tile walls, park on tile roads and stack into a build rather than rolling off it.
This is an add-on pack and PicassoTiles is explicit that structural tiles are not included. It connects with other full-size PicassoTiles magnetic tile building block sets, and PicassoTiles states its toy sets are BPA free and non toxic with smooth edges throughout. The retail card is marked Ages 3 to 99.
