The tiles in this set are printed on both faces, and that single decision is what makes it two toys. Build with one side out and the result is a pale teal and gold palace with domed towers. Flip the same tiles and the same walls become a brown medieval fortress with stonework and heraldic banners. A child who has finished one castle has not finished playing.

Seventy pieces come in the box: 52 magnet tiles with the castle artwork printed on them, 2 magnet tiles with brick surface connectors, 8 character action figures and 8 accessories for those figures. The figures are crowned royals and armoured knights, each with an accessory of its own, and they stand on the tiles magnetically rather than balancing, which matters when a five year old is moving them around a wall.

Because the shapes are standard PicassoTiles tiles, the castle can be extended with any full size set already in the house. PicassoTiles prints Ages 3 to 99 on the box and states the plastic is BPA free and non toxic with round corners.
