Most toy cars can only be driven. This one can be taken to pieces and put back together with a drill that actually turns, which is a completely different afternoon. The trigger reverses, so a child drives a screw in, decides the spoiler looks wrong, backs it out again and starts over.

The kit holds 30 pieces: five car body parts, a six piece spoiler modification kit, eight wheels, ten screws and the mini power drill. PicassoTiles calls it a 2 in 1 kit and shows six different builds made from the same parts. Assembled, the car has working LED headlights and an engine sound that plays as it moves.

The drill mimics a real one closely enough that changing a wheel feels like changing a wheel: line the bit up, hold the trigger, feel the bolt go. It runs on 2 AA batteries, which are not included. PicassoTiles marks the box 3+ YEARS and states the plastic is BPA safe and non toxic.
