The cover is the Advent calendar. Twenty five flaps, one a day, and behind each one a story, a song, a craft or something to bake. Two hundred and twenty four pages deep, which is why this is called a treasury and not a calendar.

It is the December book that keeps a house busy: peppermint tie dye shirts, sock snowmen, felt stockings, cookies, letters to Santa, and a look at how Christmas is celebrated elsewhere in the world. Nothing gets eaten or thrown away on the 25th, so it comes back down from the closet next year and the year after that.
