A couch by day and a bed by night, which is exactly the trick a mouse living room needs when someone comes to stay. The seat unfolds forward in three hinged panels into a mattress while the back and both arms stay standing behind it, then folds back up into a two arm sofa with no fuss and no parts to lose.

It is soft all through, with no hard frame inside, upholstered in a woven cloth printed with dots. Maileg calls the colorway Dots; the cloth reads as a dusty clay pink, a muted terracotta rose, carrying caramel ochre dots. At 11 cm (4.33 in) wide and 8 cm (3.15 in) high it is Mouse size, and it was drawn for the SuitCasa Mouse House living room, so it fits that case exactly and sits just as well in the Mouse Hole Farmhouse.

Ramie, viscose and cotton with a polyester filling, and it machine washes at 30 C (86 F), which matters more than it sounds for a thing that spends its life on a bedroom floor.
