Eight cubes, four red and four blue, each printed with parts of a face on every side. Turn them, click them together and you have a laughing face, a worried one, a face that is clearly plotting something. Turn one cube a quarter and the whole expression changes. Children who cannot yet name what they feel will happily build it.

The 36 cards in the box turn that into a game. Flip a card, and the race is to be the first to rebuild the face on it out of the cubes; the winner keeps the card and the first player to ten cards takes the game. The printed user guide sets it out step by step, so it works at a table with a parent or on the floor with two siblings.

Each cube is 3 cm on a side, sized for small hands, with hidden magnets that click rather than fall apart. PicassoTiles marks the box 3+ YEARS and states the plastic is BPA free and non toxic with smooth edges.
