A whole Christmas, 16 cm (6.3 in) tall. Dark green bristle branches spread from a twisted wire trunk, hung with small glossy red baubles and red and white toadstools, and slim cream candles stand upright on the branch tips the way real ones once did. Underneath, a short cream drum base banded in dark red, with green triangles painted around it and the Maileg signature written on the top.

The candles light. Fit one CR2032 coin cell, which is not included, and the bulbs come on, which is the moment a shelf turns into a scene. Maileg makes it in metal and plastic, so the branches are wire under the bristle and it packs away and comes back out year after year.

Maileg drew this one for the Gingerbread House, and at Mouse size it stands correctly in a Mouse Hole Farmhouse living room as well. It is small enough to pack away in a shoebox and good enough that somebody will want to.
